Mr. Jesus M. Gueta's Obituary
Jesus M. Gueta passed away on April 30, 2018 surrounded by his family after battling a long stroke related illness. Jesus Gueta was born on October 15, 1953 in Thlahualilo De Zaragoza to parents Francisco Gueta and Alicia Medina. He immigrated to the United States in 1970 in hopes of creating a better life for himself and his future family. On June 24, 1977 he married his true love, Miss Maria Elena Arzabala in Eagle Pass, Texas. Together, they raised a family in Brazoria County, Texas, worked diligently and were successful in creating their version of the American Dream.
Jesus Gueta is preceeded in death by his beloved son, Roger Gueta, and his father, Fransisco Gueta. He is survived by his wife of forty years, Maria Elena Gueta, his son, Rocky Gueta, his daughters, Brenda Garcia and her husband Jimmy Garcia, and Telma Canales and her husband Benito Canales. His six grandchildren also survive him: Camila Belle Garcia, David Canales, Rocky Edward Gueta, Sophia Daniela Canales, Richard Edgar Gueta, and Isabella Marie Canales.
Services will take place at South Park Funeral Home in Pearland, Texas. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.
