Hernandez, Jesse's Obituary
Jesse Hernandez, born on August 9th, 1942 in Houston, Texas. He peacefully left this world on March 11th, 2025, much to the disbelief of anyone who knew him.
Jesse, affectionately known as " Bebe, Tio, and Apa" to his friends and family, was the loving son of Margaret Hernandez and the devoted husband of Irma G Hernandez whom he married in 1997 and together, they raised 7 loving children: Amanda, Manuel, Allen, Norma, Ana, Yolanda, and Pilar. He left his only surviving sibling Dolores G Villarreal and his nephew Rodolfo Luevano who loved him dearly.
Jesse attended elementary school only, he also went to school to be a chef. He entered the workforce first as a meat cutter, shine shoes, and a roofer. He then entered the workforce at Emsco, where he became a machinist for 30 years plus.
Everyone who knew Jesse knew of his love for hunting, making his delicious brisket, and then later discovering his love for bingo.
Upon his retirement in 2001, Jesse finally had time to dedicate his time to his beloved wife, his love for bingo, and watching old western movies, so loud that the neighbors could hear what he was watching.
While Jesse may no longer be with us, his memory will live on in the countless tales of his infectious laughter, humor, and countless stories of his younger years. He will be missed but never forgotten in everyone's heart who met him. He never met a stranger who wasn't going to become a friend. He went home to his beloved mother and his two precious mascots Browny, Casper and Wendy but left a shining light for us to follow.
