Jesse M. Briones' Obituary
Jesse Briones, age 87, passed away peacefully at home on February 1, 2021. He was born April 21, 1933 in Aldine, Texas to Simon Briones and his beloved wife Anselma Briones. Jesse was one of 7 children. The devout family lived in Houston, Texas.
Jesse graduated from Jeff Davis High School in 1952. He attended The University of Houston and other technical schools studying surveying, drafting, and structural design. He married the love of his life Marian Trujillo on June 3, 1956.
Jesse worked at the Port of Houston, Fluor Ocean Services, Conoco, and Dow Chemical.
Jesse is survived by Marian Briones (wife), daughters Debbie Milner (Steve), Lori Johnson (Dennis), Jessica Ross (Terry), and son Mario Briones (Kristie). Jesse and Marian have 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Survivors also include sisters Mary Almendarez and Rosy Riojas along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins
Visitation on Thursday, February 11 shall take place between 5 and 7 PM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church located at 110 E South Street, Alvin, Texas. Church services will take place at St. John the Baptist Church on Friday, February 12th at 10:30 AM. Interment will be at South Park Funeral Home in Pearland, Tx following the church service on Friday. Livestreaming of the services shall be available
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Alvin TX.
