Mr. Jesse Blanco's Obituary
Jesse Blanco went to be with the Lord from his residence in San Antonio, Texas on March 30, 2010. Mr. Blanco was born in Charcas, San Luis Potosi, Mexico December 19, 1917 son of the late Marcelino and Maria Cortez Blanco. Mr. Blanco, a longtime resident of Houston, was employed by Southern Pacific Railroad for over 39 years. He served as Minister of Music in various Hispanic churches in the area. Mr. Blanco was preceded in death by his wife Carmen, his brother Encarnation Blanco and sisters Francis Garcia, Luz Blanco, and Socorro Blanco. He leaves three children and their spouses: sons Jesse Blanco and his wife Barbara of San Antonio; Rudolph Blanco and his wife Brenda of San Antonio; daughter Tabitha Smith and her husband Keri of Waxahachie, Texas. He was blessed with seven grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren who gave him much joy. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 1 from 4-8PM at SouthPark Funeral Home in Pearland, Texas. Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 2 at 12:30PM in the chapel of SouthPark Funeral Home with Rev Keri L. Smith presiding. Internment will follow at SouthPark Cemetery.
