Fifty-one years ago I was lucky enough to befriend Sherry and the entire Adams clan. Even at the age of 10, I thought "Sherry's Mom" was so elegant and sexy. She had a way of telling it like it was yet also had an ease about her. She was sassy and dramatic yet kind and comforting (like the time she picked me up from the stables and cared for me because I was having a severe heat stroke and my mom wasn't home). Life would have not been the same had Sherry and I not be introduced to Erica Kane at such a tender age, thanks to JJ. My most fond memories have to be from hauling horses around and of course, the infamous yearly Spring Roundup at the three family ranches; Sherry and I were head cow pokes. We were up before dawn to start herding in the cows and calves for the day's work. Upon arrival at the pens, JJ always had plenty ready for us to eat since we had to skip breakfast due our important pre-dawn mission. I did not have brothers so Mark and Brian were forces to behold in their own right. They gave JJ a run for her money but she was also their head cheerleader in life at at countless all-star achievements in sports. I quite think she enjoyed the chaos as a form of amusement, in spite of it all. Beautiful memories of JJ. xoxo
