Jennifer Mata, 15, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2009 in Houston, Texas. She was born May 2, 1994 in Houston, Texas to Juan and Ma Mata. Jennifer is also survived by her loving parents Juan and Ma Mata; brother, Juan Mata, Jr.; sisters, Vanessa and Stephanie Mata; her paternal grandparents, Jose Guadalupe and Gloria Mata; her maternal grandparents, Ponciano Leija and Maria Mercedes Rivera and a host of uncles, aunts and cousins. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 8th from 5-9 PM at St. Helen Catholic Church with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00PM. A Celebration of the Funeral Mass will be held Friday, October 9th at 11:00 AM at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2905 Old Alvin Road, Pearland, Texas. Rite of Committal will follow at SouthPark Cemetery.
