Mrs. Jeanette Holiday Dent's Obituary
Jeanette Holiday Dent, 79, entered into rest Thursday, December 18, 2008. She was born in Galveston, Texas on December 13, 1929. She is preceded in death by her husband, Willis W. Dent, Jr. and parents, Glenn A. Holiday and Jeanette L. Holiday. She is survived by brother, Glenn A. Holiday and wife, Barbara W. Holiday; sister-in-law, Claire Cagle and husband, Richard; sister-in-law, Linda Sutton and husband, Herbert; niece, Cathy Moore and husband, Dana; nephew, Cactus Jack Cagle and wife, Janet. A longtime resident of Houston, she graduated from Milby High School in 1947. She was a legal secretary and retired from Exxon Pipeline Company in 1986. Remembered for her gentle voice and sweet nature, she loved her family with all of her heart, especially her husband, Will. Friends and family may pay their respects from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Saturday and 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Sunday at SouthPark Funeral Home. A Celebration of Jeanette's Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 22, 2008 in the Chapel of SouthPark Funeral home with Deacon Merce Leal officiating. Interment to follow, SouthPark Cemetery.
