Jay Carroll Travis' Obituary
After a long fought battle with ALS Jay Carroll Travis passed away peacefully at his home on June 18, 2024. His battle is won, for the Lord God is He who went with him to fight for him against his illness, and gave him the victory (Deuteronomy 20:4).
Jay served in the Army branch of the U.S. Military where he established life long friendships he maintained until his passing.
On July 20, 2008 he was baptized and born again as a humble servant of the Lord God Almighty. Through his unyielding faith he found the strength to remain uplifting and high spirited.
Despite his many hardships he continued to give praise to God, and used his experiences as his testament of God’s unending love to every soul he touched.
In 1990 Jay met his with wife Ana and celebrated thirty-four years of marriage. Together they raised three children, and welcomed five grandchildren.
Today he is survived by his wife Ana, children Tianna, Jackson, and Sara, grandchildren Leah, Breeana, Jade, Caleb, and Ezra, father Paul, mother Ann, and sisters Andrea, Kim, and brother Judson.
