Ms. Janet Diane Johnson's Obituary
Janet Diane Johnson passed away peacefully in her sleep and went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 9, 2020. She was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on September 11, 1962. She is proceeded in death by her father, Curtis Denver Johnson, her mother, Edna Pauline Carraway Davis, her stepfather, Sammy Davis, Jr., all of her grandparents and several aunts and uncles. She is survived by her sister, Dana Elizabeth Johnson DiMarco; brother-in-law, Daniel; niece, Reilly; Stepbrothers, Philip Davis (Lucy) and Raymond Penney; Aunts Clovis Sylvester (Lester), June Macon, Cynthia Davis (Mike) Lydia Larkin; uncles, Clarence Smith, Larry Johnson (Joan), Mitchell Johnson; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Janet loved LSU-Louisiana State University. Purple and gold were her favorite colors. She loved her dog, CJ. She loved eating Quarter Pounders and McRibs from McDonald’s and chicken legs from Church’s Chicken. Her favorite sweets were Three Musketeers, Reese’s Pieces, and Uncle Bob’s Peppermints. On Saturdays, she looked forward to doughnuts and the Sunday paper. Janet loved listening to music, especially 80s music (K.C. & the Sunshine Band and Rick Springfield) and country music (Alan Jackson and Garth Brooks). She loved to watch television. Her favorite shows were The Price is Right, Young and the Restless, Golden Girls, and Reba.
