Mrs. Janean Kay Reagan's Obituary
Janean Kay Reagan, 56, died on September 7, 2016 at her home in Pearland, Texas. Janean was born in Port Arthur, Texas on August 6, 1960 and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1978. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She was also an avid reader, had a wonderful sense of humor and was a joy to all who knew her. Janean was a long time employee of South Texas College of Law and will be missed by her extensive work family. She courageously battled cancer and other health issues in recent years. Mostly, Janean will be remembered as a loving and dedicated mother to her son, Justin, who was her greatest pride and joy, and as a wonderful grandmother to Eisley and Jay.
Janean was preceded in death by her husband, Jay Warren Reagan, who was the love of her life; her brother, James Burnett; her stepfather, Paul Bradley; and her stepfather, Sal Guererro. She is survived by her son, Justin Warren Reagan, his wife, Adrienne, and their children, Eisley Kaylen Reagan and Jay Warren Reagan; her father, the Honorable Jay W. Burnett and his wife, Catherine; her mother, Doris Guerrero; her brother, Lance Bradley and his wife, Tina, and their children, Kendal and Kaden; her sister-in-law, Natasha Burnett; nieces, Jamie and Kendra and their families; many other family members and friends; and by her beloved dog, Jack. Janean is also survived by her husband’s family, who loved her as one of their own.
Janean was cherished by her family and friends and will be sorely missed. She lived life on her own terms and knew that she was loved by many.
A visitation and celebration of Janean’s life will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at South Park Funeral Home in Pearland, Texas
