Jamur Jezerel Lewis' Obituary
Jamur Jezerel Lewis was born on August 27, 1998, to Fate Lewis and Diana Brooks in E. St. Louis, IL. Jamur is the only child born to Fate and Diana and the 2nd of Fate’s four children: Daquasia Dawson, Tayana Mills an Kijuan Lewis. He was baptized at age 10 at Community Mission COGIC in E. St. Louis, IL.
Jamur was a charming, charismatic, and loving son, brother, nephew, and cousin. He absolutely loved spending time with his family and friends, often making sure he was the life of the room. Jamur will be truly missed by his close childhood friends from his hometown of E. St. Louis. Upon moving to Houston, TX, he developed and solidified an amazingly strong bond with his cousins, FNM and Kutt guys.
Jamur leaves behind to cherish his memories, his mother, Diana (Arthur) Brooks-Wiley, his father, Fate (Martina) Lewis, his sisters, Daquasia Dawson and Tayana Mills and his brother, Kijuan Lewis. Aunts, Alexandria (Stuart) Akeson, Bianca Brooks, Cassandra Hatcher (John Nelson), Katrina Hatcher, Glasser (Jack) Lewis Benson and Roesandra Davis. Uncles, James (Lametria) Brooks, Christopher (Latisha) Brooks, Lamanuel (Sheila) Hatcher, Robert Davis, Mack Harris, Christian Lewis and a host of cousins, relatives, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Veronica Brooks and James Braggs; paternal grandfather, Fate Lewis Sr and his uncle (namesake) Jumar Brooks.
