James Daniel Turrentine's Obituary
James Daniel Turrentine passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2017 in the Woodlands, Texas and was born on Saturday, September 20, 1924 to parents, Foy E. Turrentine and Savannah Rillie Williams. He is survived by his son, Robert W Turrentine, sister Martha Weems, sister in law, Aline Willey; grandchildren, Jason W Turrentine ( Deborah), Joel M Turrentine (Kris), James W Turrentine (Christina), great granddaughters, Ashley Turrentine, Megan Turrentine, Macie Turrentine, Madi Turrentine. James is predeceased by his wife Lois Turrentine and his parents, Foy E. Turrentine and Savannah Rillie Williams. He proudly served his country in the Army in World War 2 (decorated veteran who landed on Normandy Beach) and worked for Armco Steel as a maintenance supervisor for many years. James will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Arrangements have been entrusted to South Park Funeral Home in Pearland, Texas. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Calvary Baptist Church of Pearland from 10AM-12PM and Funeral Service will be at 12pm with Burial to follow at South Park Cemetery.
