Mr. James Herbert Thacker's Obituary
James Herbert Thacker, 85, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017. James was the fourth child of Oscar and Ola Thacker. He was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas, on May 27, 1932. He graduated from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas, with a degree in accounting. He served as the Administrator of the ILA Pension and Benefit Fund in Houston, Texas. This loving husband, father, and grandfather is survived by his wife Dolores Thacker; daughter Terri Clemmons and husband Mark Clemmons and grandson Adam Clemmons; daughter Stephanie Fregia and husband Ken Fregia and grandson Layton Thacker Fregia; and his son James H. Thacker II. He is also survived by his brother Gene Thacker; sister in law Eddie
Thacker; sisters Elizabeth Bateman and Doris LaCroix. A visitation will be held on Friday, August 25, 2017 from 12:30PM until 1:30PM at South Park Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 25, 2017 at 1:30PM at South Park Funeral Home, 1310 N. Main, Pearland, Texas 77581.
