Mr. James Clark Moon's Obituary
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith" (2 Timothy 4:7 NIV) Jim Moon, age 90, of Friendswood, TX passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2012 due to complications from a car accident on July 15, 2012. Born December 28, 1921, he was a beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy in WWII in the South Pacific and was a member of the American Legion Post 490. After his discharge from the Navy, he began a long career of building bridges and constructing buildings throughout the US until he retired to enjoy his wonderful garden. He is predeceased by his wife Lea and is survived by his four children and their spouses, Paige Friedman and Bob, Mike Moon and Barbara, Frank Moon and Sherry and Michelle Moon Martinez and George. He leaves behind his much loved seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. He is also survived by three sisters, Lucille, Jeanne and Lolita. The family would like to thank everyone at Hermann Memorial Medical Center Trauma ER and STICU for their compassionate care. He leaves behind a legacy in his much loved family.
