Mr. James Earl Bean III's Obituary
James Earl Bean III entered into the loving arms of our Lord on January 29, 2020, at the tender age of 44 years old. He was born in Houston, Texas on July 18, 1975, to Linda Kay and James Earl Bean Jr. He was the youngest of three children.
James was employed by Baker-Hughes for 12 years. He was passionate about driving which led to him becoming a professional cross country truck driver. During that time, he was able to see 48 of the 50 states. For the last 2 years, he worked for Pasadena ISD in the transportation department to spend more time with his son.
James was a big sports fan with his favorite teams being the Houston Astros and the Houston Texans. He loved spending time with his family and friends. But most of all he loved being a father to Tyler. One of their favorite things to do was going to the Monster Jam, which became an annual tradition.
James is preceded in death by his grandparents James and Betty Bean, Sr., Herman and Vernell Lovett, and Dorothy Moran.
He will always be remembered by his loving parents, James and Linda Bean, son, Tyler James Bean, sisters and brothers-in-law Neely and Doug Schurtz, Shana and Darren Story, nephews and niece, Joshua Schurtz, Jake Story, Tessa Schurtz and Cole Story.
The Bean family will be receiving friends and family on Saturday, February 8, 2020 starting at 9:00 AM for a visitation. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 AM with burial to follow at SouthPark Cemetery. Since James was an avid sports enthusiast, we’d like to invite guests to wear their favorite sports team’s colors or sports team jersey or shirt to the service.
