Mrs. Jacqueline Celine Hokanson's Obituary
Jacqueline Celine Kyser Moody Hokanson was born at home October 13, 1928 in the Heights area of Houston, Texas and passed away Friday, September 26, 2014 in Pearland, Texas. The family moved around during the depression years, but “Jackie” graduated from Waller High School in 1945. She was predeceased by both her first husband Cal Moody and by 2nd husband William L. Hokanson; her parents Matthew Marion “Jack” and Sara Belle Suladie Kyser, sister Jean B. Davis, and brother William M. “Bill” Kyser. She is survived by her stepchildren W. Joel Hokanson and wife Dianna, David N. Hokanson and wife Pam, Mark K. Hokanson and wife Cathy, Susan I. Sherrouse and husband Melvin, step grandchildren Patti Hokanson, Frances Caballero, Sarah Olson, Mary Iqbal, Kim Hokanson Cho, Jerry Hokanson, Jimmy Hokanson, Kris Hokanson, Jordan Hokanson, Vicky Harp and Joel Sherrouse, and ten great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sister Elizabeth C. “Bettie” Fickel and nieces Jacqueline Fickel, Carol Fritsche, and Vicki Belinoski, and a grand nephew and great-grand niece. Services will be held at South Park Funeral Home, Pearland, Texas at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, September 29, 2014. Donations may be made to the Fort Bend County Women's Center, 281-344-5750.
