Both of us married someone who was a resident of the USA. We saw each other sporadically but called often. We all remember the first trip we made to Texas in our new car. The air conditioner stopped working as soon as we drove into Texas. Such fun the kids had swimming in the pool. Uncle Co and Aunt Cleo were the perfect hosts. We got to go sailing on their boat and it was lots of fun. We visited Galveston beach, and we had a great time. Another year, just the 4 of us got together for a trip to Mexico where we stayed in Las Brisas. We had so much fun together. Wherever my brother Jules/Co was there was always laughter. The four of us also went on a cruise together to the Yucatán.
It was always fun, Jules/Co was a happy go lucky guy, never a negative word about anybody. CO we will miss you, you will be in our thoughts forever and Rest In Peace. Your job on earth is finished and brother you did well. Love,

Dear Cleo, Paul, Steve and family,
We heard about your loss and we would like to extend our deepest condolences. "Oom (uncle) Co" en "Tante (aunt) Cleo" visited me and my family a lot of times during my childhood in Amsterdam. It was always nice having them around. In a way it felt special having family living in the States and I remember bragging about it to my friends at school. Also because they always took something with them, something special we didn't have in Holland yet.
Unfortunately I only visited Co and Cleo once in Houston but I remember it well. It was during Christmas and they really spoiled us with a lot of attention and off course....presents under the christmas tree. A tradition we don't really have in Holland.
We want to wish you strenght with the loss of your loved one.

Dear Cleo, Paul, Steve, Nicky and Jacob,
Mary and Paul send you all our deeply felt condolences with the passing of yours and ours beloved Co/Jules. Cleo and Jules visit us several times in Amsterdam after his marriage in Texas and we visit them in Houston a couple of times. We did this because we liked to keep the relations warm and intense and because we loved them and we were proud that the both were doing so well with the big ocean between us.
We will miss him and for sure all those telephone-calls in with there was always a laugh and lthe last years also a little tear. He loved Cleo, the boys and Nicky, but Jacob ........
