Jacob M. Chacko's Obituary
Mr. Jacob M. Chacko (Sunny) entered into eternal peace on Friday, February 23rd, 2024. Sunny of Pakalomattam Kuttikandathil family was born on May 31, 1959 in Theodical, Thiruvalla and is the youngest child of six to late Geevarghese Chacko and late Alyeamma Chacko.
He lived his life as a loving brother to his three eldest sisters Aleyamma Simon (Gracie), Mary (Kunjumol) Abraham, and Sosamma (Alice) Rajan and two elder brothers Varghese Chacko (Raju), Thomas Chacko (Ponnachen).
Sunny finished his Bachelors of Commerce and Masters of Commerce at Ranni College. Sunny migrated to the US in 1986 where he was an active member of the St. Peters and St. Paul Orthodox Church in Rockland, New York, and married Susan Thampi on August 8, 1987. They were blessed with two beautiful children – Robin and Rony Jacob. They then migrated to Atlanta in 2001 where they were active members of St. Mary’s Orthodox Church.
During his life, Sunny created a successful tax business which served many clients over the years. Sunny was a man of faith with a gracious heart and always willing to give. He truly was a hard worker both for his family and his business. Sunny’s sense of humor was contagious and his smile will stay with us.
We are grateful to have shared memories with him so that we may carry his legacy throughout our lives.
Sunny is survived by his wife, Susan Jacob; children, Rony Jacob, Dr. Robin & Roshney Jacob, grandson Luka Jacob, and mother-in-law Lily A. Thampi.
