Jack was raised on a farm and was a farmer all of his life; he was a worker that never looked for the easy way to do things. He started working at Wooten’s Gas Station while in Jr High School. During that time, he started a Trucking Company and he hauled many different things over the years including cattle, cotton, and cotton seed. He also had several different jobs with Griff’s Gin in Weinert, Texas.
For the last 9 years he worked for West Brazos Golf Center in Brazoria Texas and did any and all jobs imaginable. Jack never played golf but he was a vital part of the Golf Course and made many great friendships there.
Jack’s favorite things were dancing, playing 42 and spending time with family, friends and his grandchildren. As time went on he went from dancing 3 or 4 nights a week to spending as much “Papa” time with his 10 grandchildren as he could.
