Jack Lyndon Houser's Obituary
Jack Lyndon Houser Jack Houser, 81, was born July 29, 1928 in Freeport, TX and passed away June 1, 2010 in Houston, TX. Jack moved from Freeport in 1958 after the Dow Chemical layoff. He took a job at USI Chemical in Deer Park and worked there as a supervisor in logistics until he retired. He graduated from Sam Houston State University. Jack was drafted into the US Army during the Korean Conflict, and served his country proudly. He loved to travel, and had an affinity for cruises, and loved to fish. Jack is preceded in death by two wives, Frances Hilburn Houser and Patsy Trexler Houser, and one son, Mikel Lyndon Houser. He is survived by a sister, Davy Greene and husband Marion; two daughters, Debra Houser Sanford and husband Scott and Amy Bodak; step-children, Jim Treece and wife Cathy and Teri Cavazos and husband John; grandchildren, Chance Sanford and wife Denise, Lindsay Bodak and Kathy Bodak; step-grandchildren, Michele, Tiffany and Mariah Treece and Brittany and Alicia Cavazos; step great-grandchild, Madeline Angela; many nieces and nephews; Lyndol, Mark, Shelly and their children; and a host of friends. Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM Thursday June 3, 2010 at SouthPark Funeral Home in Pearland, TX. A graveside service will be held at 10 AM Friday June 4, 2010 at Angleton Cemetery in Angleton, TX. Pastor Aaron Kalvas will officiate. A committal service will immediately follow in Angleton Cemetery.
