Ignacio "Moe" Moreno's Obituary
Moe Moreno, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully, embraced by the love of his family. Moe was born in Laredo, Texas, then moved to Houston as a young adult, where he made his home for the rest of his life.
Moe shared 31 years of loving marriage to Socorro Moreno, with whom he had five daughters. Socorro passed away in 1994. Moe built a strong foundation for his family, one defined by love, devotion, and togetherness.
Moe was blessed to find love once more with Mary Ordonez, with whom he shared 30 beautiful years filled with love, devotion, and countless joyful moments. Mary cared for Moe with great tenderness, especially during his time of need when he could no longer care for himself. Her steadfast devotion is deeply cherished and appreciated by Moe’s five daughters.
Moe is survived by his five daughters:
• Mary Saunders (married to Brad), and their sons Justin and Brandon
• Flora Kushner (married to Jeff), and their sons Austin (married to Brianna) and Max (Cassidy his girlfriend).
• Erica Moreno
• Ramona Moreno, and her son Alex Moreno
• Paula Najera (married to Raul), and their daughter Isabel
Moe leaves behind countless family members residing in Houston, Bay City, Laredo and Dallas, Texas; including sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces, grandchildren, and great grandchildren on his side, his first wife’s side, and his second wife's side of the family.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Maria Sanchez, his caregiver for the past year and to all the Choice Hospice care team.
Moe leaves behind a legacy of strength, generosity, and unwavering devotion to his family. He will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him.
