The sweet smile of joy (and relief) on her face when I asked her daughter, Vanessa to Marry me in front of her. Ida was sitting in her favorite chair in the small room while Nessa was standing in front of her visiting. I walked in, gave Ida a big hug. I knelt on my right knee, took Nessas hand and asked her. Thank God she said yes! Such an Angel, such a bright light in all our lives then, and now! Love and Miss you, Mother-in-law!
