Mrs. Hortencia Loya's Obituary
Hortencia Loya, born April 15, 1936 in San Antonio, TX, entered into rest Sept. 20, 2009. Hortencia is preceded in death by her first husband Guadalupe Gonzalez and son Tony Gonzalez. Her survivors include her husband, Manuel Loya; children, Guadalupe Gonzalez, Jr. and wife Janie, Rosalinda Soliz and husband Jose, Carolina Hernandez and husband John, Richard Gonzalez and wife Mary Helen, Margarita A. Villarreal, Rudy Gonzalez and wife Mary L., Charlie Gonzalez, Carla Selvera and husband Phil, and Andrea Gonzalez-Solis and husband Benito Solis; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Alice Stanley and husband Jesse and Antonia Hernandez. Visitation will begin Thursday, Sept. 24, 2009, starting at 6 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. in the chapel of SouthPark Funeral Home, 1310 N. Main St. in Pearland. The funeral service will be held Friday, Sept. 25, 2009 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of SouthPark Funeral Home. Interment to follow at SouthPark Cemetery.
