Mr Horace Faukald Oleson's Obituary
OLESON Horace Faukald Oleson, age 91, passed away Wednesday October 9, 2008 in Tomball Texas. Horace was preceded in death by father Oscar Frederick Oleson; mother Mathilde Faukald Oleson; brother Frederick Oleson. He is survived by friends Kenny and Monica Mizell and son Josh; Larry George, Dyonne 'Dee' Bentz and children; Elizabeth 'Libby' and Lon Allbritton and son Lonnie; John and Pilara Mizell and sons Ricky and Jacob, and many more very close friends. Horace was an honorable member of the United States Army Air Force, a Master Mason in the Masonic Lodge of Coldspring Texas, and a Boy Scout leader for 4 decades beginning in the 50's with Troop 11 sponsored by 1st Presbyterian Church of Houston. Horace is a retired Exxon employee where he worked for 41 years. He was a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church of Houston for many years before he moved to Tomball and became a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Tomball. He loved outside activities and enjoyed photography, especially the years he took pictures for TUTs performances. Horace cared about people. He took sole responsibility for caring for his parents and brother and wanted to make a difference in so many of his friend's lives and people that he thought needed help. Horace will be greatly missed.
