Honora Hlinsky's Obituary
Honora Josephine Pavlik Hlinsky, age 87 of Rosharon, Texas, passed away in Sugar Land, Texas, on August, 24, 2019. She was born December 21, 1931, in Galveston, Texas, to Karel and Mary Collerain Pavlik. She grew up in Spring, Texas, and Fayetteville, Texas, and was a 1949 graduate of La Grange High School. Honora, “Nonie Jo” to family and friends, was a long time member and volunteer of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Manvel and K.J.Z.T. Confraternity. She retired from Target Corporation.
She was preceded in death by her husband Leroy, her parents, sisters Mary Lou Zajack and Theresa Roensch, and brothers Karel Pavlik, Alfred Pavlik, and Edward Pavlik.
Honora is survived by three daughters, Linda Guin and husband Kenneth of Natchitoches, Louisiana, Brenda Gaidosek and husband William of Sulphur, Louisiana, and Annette Hernandez and husband Alfonzo of Sugar Land, Texas, and one son, Richard Hlinsky and wife Diedra of Crosby, Texas, 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, sister Jerrydene Kovar, and brothers Bill Pavlik and Robert Pavlik.
The family wishes to express sincere thanks to Barton House for the wonderful care given to their mother in her final years.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, August 28, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at South Park Funeral Home in Pearland, Texas, including a rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, August 29, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manvel. Burial will follow at South Park Funeral Home. Her grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
