Hilton Thomas Moore's Obituary
Hilton (Daddy, Bubba, Tom, Tommy) Thomas Moore, 54, passed away peacefully at a local hospital on Christmas Eve 2022 after a year-long battle with cancer. He was born on March 11, 1968, in Houston, Texas to Luis R. Moore and Margie L. Harvey.
Bubba was raised most of his life in Pasadena, Texas and attended Gardens Elementary, Bailey Elementary, Parkview Intermediate, and Sam Rayburn High Schools.
He met Gina D’Orazio in 1989 and married in 1992. Together they had a daughter, Cynthia Marie Moore on June 4, 1999.
Bubba found that he loved computers after purchasing his first home computer and that is when he became the computer geek that he was today. He wanted to learn more about them, so he attended ITT’s Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications program in 2000. He received his Associates in Applied Science degree in 2002. After graduation, he started his career with MD Anderson that lasted 20 years. While working for MD Anderson, he decided it was time to continue his education, so he went back to school to obtain a degree in Computer Programming. In 2010 he attended American InterContinental University and received his Bachelor of Science degree. At the time of his death, he was still an active employee of MD Anderson as a Sr. Applications System Analyst.
Bubba loved computers, trucks, fishing, gaming, playing Minecraft with his nephew, Cameron, spending time with his family and friends, and most of all he loved his daughter. He was a jokester and always was ready to hear a good joke or tell one. He would look forward to planning trips with his daughter, Cynthia, whether it be a trip to Disney World (even as she was outgrowing it) or a quick trip to Galveston or San Antonio.
One of his proudest moments in life outside of his daughter’s birth was when he rededicated his life to Jesus Christ. On August 29, 2021, Bubba and his sister Terri were both baptized at Calvary Houston.
Bubba is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Moore (Chase); Mother, Margie Harvey; sisters, Terri Moore, and Tammy Foley; brother, Louie Moore (Hilliary). He is also survived by his nephews, Cameron Murdock, and Branden Murdock; nieces, Amanda Young and Desiree’ Murdock (Taylor); great nephew, Michael Young; Aunt and Uncle Mary and Ron Deluna; numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. He also leaves behind his ex-wife and friend, Gina D’Orazio and his good friend and confidante of 20 years, Dianna Jeffcoat.
The family would like to thank Ann Moore for lovingly donating the cemetery space for Bubba to be laid to rest in.
Bubba is pre-deceased by his father, Luis Moore (2007); his Granny Hunt (1995); his Papa Hunt (2008) and his stepfather, Charles Harvey (1998). He was also preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents, his Aunt Margret Moore and Uncles Bob Moore, and Larry Moore.
Pallbearers will be Branden Murdock, Chase Adams, Kenneth Fabinski, Louie Moore, Seth Capps, and Kenny Murdock.
FLY HIGH!!!!
In Bubba’s own words:
Win! Win!
