Herminia Guerra's Obituary
Herminia D. Guerra was born on December 31, 1952 to Severa De Leon in Rosebud, Texas. She gained her beautiful wings on January 1, 2021 surrounded by family.
Herminia was retired from Texas Children’s Hospital after 46 years. She received so many honorable employee of the month on so many occasions.
She loved listening to country and tejano music, traveling the world and enjoyed being with her family.
She was preceded in death by her son Raymond Guerra, Sr., her mother Severa De Leon, grandson Carlos Zapata and her sister Gloria De Leon.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years Antonio “Tony” Guerra, son Joe Louis Guerra, Sr. and daughter Victoria De Leon.
She leaves behind her grandchildren:
Crystal Rodriguez, Raymond Guerra Jr., Gloria De Leon-Hernandez, Elizabeth Guerra, Victoria Pedraza, Eileen Pedraza, Jose Zapata, Joe Louis Guerra Jr., Carlos Zapata (†) and 5 great grandchildren, as well as her loving brothers: Pablo De Leon Jr, Apolonio De Leon, Martin De Leon, Eliseo De Leon, Miguel De Leon. Sisters: Marilyn De Leon, Carmen Montoya she also leaves behind many nieces and nephews
