Henriette Lozoya Longoria's Obituary
Henriette Lozoya Longoria, of Pearland, passed away surrounded by family, on Saturday, September 21, 2019.
Henriette, known to most as Ma, was born in Saginaw, Michigan on February 20, 1924 to Evaristo Lozoya and Estefana Landin Lozoya. She was a seamstress by trade, but when she wasn’t working, she spent the better part of her time cooking and feeding everyone around her with delicious tacos. She loved showering her family with affection and food. Her many talents included crocheting, knitting, and sewing dresses for her grandkids and great grandkids. On the weekends, she spent her time dancing and socializing with her many friends. In her later years, she spent her time making memories with her grandkids, and great grandkids. She passed on her knowledge of sewing, speaking Spanish, and cooking. She also enjoyed letting the kids dress her up, danced with them, played babies with them, and snuck them candy and cookies at every opportunity.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Evaristo and Estefana Landin, her brothers, Luis Lozoya, Rodolfo Lozoya, Evaristo Lozoya, Guillermo Lozoya, her first husband, Ruben Davila III, and her second husband Jesse Longoria, and her step children Luis Longoria, Mary Helen Lemos, Jesse Longoria, Luci Alaniz.
She is survived in death by her sister, Genoveva Lozoya, her son, Ruben Davila IV and wife Patricia, grand kids, Christy, Ruben, Monica, Travis, Nicole, Jesse Duke, and multiple great grandkids.
