Helen Rosalie Taylor passed away on April 15, 2017 in The Woodlands, Texas. She was born February 14, 1946 in Houston, Texas to Howard and Edna Hawks. Helen is survived by her husband of 53 years Roy D. Taylor; Children: Melinda L Read Obituary
My heartfelt sympathy goes to this family. I had the privilege and pleasure of working with Ms Helen at Onalaska Elementary. She was a very sweet lady and had lots of spunk. She took great pride in her job as the librarian and did a wonderful job. Any and everything that I ever needed for research in my sixth grade science/social studies classroom she would find and/or order for me if the funds were available. Every afternoon when she made her Sonic run, she would bring me a Coke or Limeade....it was always the "perfect pick me up" to get me through the afternoon.
Rest in Peace sweet lady, Rest in Peace until we meet again in God's Kingdom.

I am so sorry to hear of Helen's passing. My heartfelt sympathy goes to her family. I worked with Ms Helen at Onalaska Elementary. She was a great lady. I remember just how proud she was of those grandbabies. Every day for a couple of years she would pick up a coke for me from Sonic when she made her daily trip there. Any and everything that I ever needed for my sixth grade science/social studies classroom research she was quick to find or order if the funds were available. I know that your hearts are breaking but have Peace in knowing that you will one day be united with her again in God's Kingdom and until then she will be watching over all of you.

Helen was always eager to get books that the teachers needed and that she thought the students would enjoy. She was a sweet caring person.
I worked with Helen at OES. We had such a good time. She was a wonderful woman and a great friend.. I know you're hearts must be breaking. Remember you'll see her again. God bless you all.
