Helen Claudine Goulding's Obituary
Helen Claudine Goulding, of Friendswood, Texas, left this world to be with her beloved Bill on April 3, 2021 at the age of 91. She was born on February 8, 1930 in Louisiana.
Helen, also known as Mamaw to her grandchildren and GMA to her great grandchildren, will always be remembered by her friends and family as being a loving wife, mom, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, of 56 years, her two children Billy "Bubba" and Deena, parents Gerald and Chrystelle Holmes, sister Doris Nordin and brother Tom Blume.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy Garcia and husband Pete, son, Tracy Goulding and wife Sabra, grandchildren, Kevin Goulding and wife Linda, Misty Lytle, Brandy Kinsey and husband Charley, Tray Goulding, Mindy Gilbert, and Steven Goulding; great grandchildren, Alyssa, Devin & Emily Moore; Dane Goulding; Hunter & Mason Lytle; Tifani, Dilan & Colin Winfield; Makenzye, Noah & Sofia Goulding, and great-great granddaughter, Raynee Macklin.
Helen lived by herself in a retirement community and loved to tend to her flowers. She took great pride in her yard and was even awarded yard of the month. Although she had not been in years, she enjoyed telling us stories about her love of casinos and the trips she took with Bill and her mother. Bill and Helen retired to their lake house in Louisiana where the family would visit every summer to fish every morning and evening. The visits were special for Helen because one of her many joys was to cook everyone’s favorite meals when they came over.
Helen Claudine Goulding touched the hearts of many; more than she could ever have imagined. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Memorial Service will be held on Monday, April 12, 2021, 2pm at Southpark Funeral Home in Pearland, TX.
