Helen Lucile Bailey's Obituary
Helen Lucile (Hawk) Bailey 99 passed away peacefully August 21, 2023. She was born in Albion Indiana on July 27, 1924. Pearland Texas has been her residence for over 60 years. raising her family with her husband Fred whom she was married to for 78 years. Helen was a gentle soul, loving mother and grandmother. She was always there with a helping hand to her family and friends in need. Her favorite past time was to sew, crochet beautiful quilts, create beautiful scenery paintings, cooking, baking sweets, going to the senior center to visit and play bingo with friends, field trips and going on shopping trips and having lunch with her two daughters and having get togethers with family and grandchildren. She loved working in her yard planting and growing beautiful plants and flowers. Then taking time out for some rest sitting on her lounge chair holding her favorite fur baby named Biskit whom has been by her side for 17 years, also surrounding her would be her two cats and a dog named Sandy. She loved animals and has had many during her lifetime. Helen was a beautiful person inside and out.
Helen is preceded in death by her husband; Freddie A. Bailey, parents; Alvia and Eva Hawk, Brothers; Calvin, Robert and Raymond. Sisters, Thelma, Eloise, Lenora, and Ruth.
She leaves her children; Roger ( Wife Joy ) Shirley, Candy (Husband John) Raymond (Wife Janie) her Sister Jeannie, eleven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. You will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved you. You will forever be in out hearts and memories. Rest in peace Mom (Grandma)
