Harvey Brumfield Jr.'s Obituary
Mr. Harvey Brumfield Jr. was born on September 12th, 1949, in Franklinton, Louisiana. He was the first son born to the late Harvey Brumfield, Sr. and Irene Brumfield.
Harvey graduated from Washington parish high school in 1968. He soon realized he had a passion for music, and new cars. His favorite artist was James brown. He used to play all his music and watch his DVD’s. etc. If there was a new car hitting the market he was one to go test, drive it and buy it if he saw fit.
Harvey Jr. was always a head of his time. He was always the life of the party, and the best dressed. He was one to make sure everyone was enjoying themselves and always satisfied for making sure you
got enough food to always asking you if you needed anything. A gentleman at its finest was the definition of Harvey.
Harvey’s love for his family was unmeasurable and unmatched. His first baby girl Sherrie Lashae Brumfield was born in 1974. He was elated with joy. Seven years later Niesha Tarshae Brumfield was born. He was always there when anyone needed him and would be sure to show up and let his presence be known, through lots of hugs, pictures and kisses. You would always catch him watching sports. Of course, basketball was his main attraction, but he would settle for the others as well.
He found love for the second time with (Janice Marie Wyatt). In 1982, and together they welcomed their first son Brandon Ramond Wyatt Brumfield, and three years later they had Shaterra Tarshae Wyatt Brumfield their beautiful bundle of joy. His legacy and memories will continue to live on through everyone and everything he encountered it’s inevitable, because he left his mark on everyone by just being
himself.
Mother Irene Brumfield, father Harvey Brumfield Sr., his daughter Niesha Brumfield, his son Brandon Brumfield, his uncle Ezekiel Brumfield, his great nephew Lawrece Brumfield, nephew Martin Brumfield.
