In Loving Memory of Graciela Arredondo
Graciela Arredondo, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2026, at the age of 55. She was born on July 18, 1970, in Brownsville, Texas, and later made her home in Alvin, Texas, where she built a life centered around family, love, and tradition.
Graciela was married to her loving husband, Margarito Arredondo, and together they created a family filled with warmth, strength, and laughter. She was a devoted mother to Marissa Arredondo Olvera, Maida Collier, and Alyssa Arredondo. Above all else, Graciela cherished being a grandmother to her precious granddaughter, Sofia Grace Olvera, who brought her endless joy and pride.
She also shared a special bond with her sons-in-law, Joseph Collier and Juan Olvera, whom she loved dearly and enjoyed spoiling every chance she got. Family meant everything to Graciela, and she showed her love through her care, generosity, and unwavering support.
She was known for her strong personality, her love of shopping, and especially her incredible cooking. Family gatherings were made special by the meals she prepared with love, bringing everyone together around the table. Graciela had a way of making people feel cared for, welcomed, and never left hungry.
Her strength, love, and unforgettable spirit will live on through her family and everyone blessed enough to know her. Though her presence will be deeply missed, the memories she created and the love she gave so freely will remain forever in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
Visitation for Graciela Arredondo will be held on June 3, 2026, at St. John the Baptist Church in Alvin, Texas, beginning at 10:30 a.m., followed by Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at 1:00 p.m. at South Park Funeral Home in Pearland, Texas.
