Mrs. Grace Ita Nyanibo's Obituary
Grace Ita Nyanibo, Uyai, Eka Ita, 76, passed away on June 16, 2021 at 5: 04A.M in Houston, Texas. Grace was born in Ntan Ekere, Nigeria on February 28, 1945.
Grace attended Monroe High School. She received a Bachelor’s Degree from Wiley College in Marshall, Texas. She received a Master’s Degree from Texas A&M Texarkana in Texarkana, Texas. Grace was a counselor for Wiley College for approximately 5 years. She was also an instructor at Elizabeth City State University in Elizabeth City, North Carolina for approximately 2 years. She enjoyed cooking, cleaning, sowing, and typing in short hand.
On July 31, 1971, Grace married Dr. Archibong Ita Nyanibo and the couple were together for 49 years.
Grace is preceded in death by her parents, Chief Daniel Udoh Etok (Father), Mrs. Nkopuruk Daniel Etok (Mother), Mr. Ime Daniel Etok (Brother), Rev. Okon A. U. Etok (Uncle),  Rev. Mr.  & Mrs. Clay Holland of Monroe Michigan (Missionary Family), Ida and Clay Jr. Holland (Missionary Family), Late Mr. Aniekan Usoro , Abasiama Umoh Antia.
Grace is survived by her spouse, Dr. Archibong Ita Nyanibo, 3 children, 5 grandchildren, 1 brother, 3 sisters,  17 combined nieces and nephews, and 8 plus cousins.
Visitation will be held on (Saturday) July 3, 2021 at from 9:30A.M.-10:00A.M. Funeral Service will begin at 10:00A.M. at South Park Funeral Home. Interment, South Park Cemetery in Pearland, Texas. Officiant, Rev. Dr. Francis P. Ekene of Good Shepard Apostolic Church.
