Gonzalo was married to his devoted wife Irma C. Jerez for 65 years.
He is survived by his wife, Irma C. Jerez, sons, Gerardo Jerez and wife Aliceand Jose Luis Jerez, daughters, Janie Jerez, Yolanda Jerez and husband, Joey Mijares.
He also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, Gerardo Jerez Jr., Michael Jerez, Adrian Amador, Ariel Jerez, Marlena Jerez, Giana Mijares, Gabriel Jerez, Jayden Mijares, Jayson Mijares, Julian Mijares. Great grandchildren, Michaela Jerez, Amaya Jerez, Layla Jerez, Thiago Jerez, Cassius Jerez and Skye Jerez
He is preceded in death by his father, Fortunato V. Jerez, mother, Maria E. Jerez, brother Paulino Jerez, daughter, Maria Luisa Perez and son, Noel Jerez.
He loved listening to music and watching YouTube videos. Gonzalo was a mechanic with the City of Houston for 20 years and worked at Oak farms for 36 years. He also loved doing projects outside and inside the house.
He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a quiet, strong, caring and hardworking man.
