Glyndon "Glen" Harvey Baker Jr's Obituary
Glyndon “Glen” Harvey Baker, Jr., 65, of Houston, Texas passed away on January 17, 2021.
Glen was born in Houston, Texas to Glynden and Gail Baker on November 15, 1955. Glen attended Alvin High School and obtained his Bachelors’ degree from the University of Houston, Clear Lake. He worked as a Project Coordinator for Baylor College of Medicine/TIRR for several years. Glen was passionate about helping everyone reach their highest potential and was always trying to help them find solutions for problems they thought insurmountable. He was one of the rare individuals who saw nothing but good in people. A truly kind and loving individual. Glen was an avid reader and spent endless hours researching family history. He not only focused on his own family, he also helped others reunite their biological family and understand their family genealogy. Ham radio operator was another pastime that Glen enjoyed. He communicated and became good friends with people around the country.
Glyndon is preceded in death by his father, Glynden H. Baker, Sr. and nephew Kyle Flores.
Glen is survived by his mother, Gail Baker; sister Sandra Baker and spouse Nancy; sister Karen Janczak and husband Robert; niece Amy King and husband Randy; niece and nephew Brandy and Seth Janczak along with loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Robert Janczak, Randy King, Billy Baker, Bobby Baker, Drew Schiller, Seth Janczak.
Visitation and services will be for family only due to the prevalence of COVID and the desire to protect family and friends.
