Gloria Jean Reber's Obituary
Gloria Jean Reber, 79, was born in Shreveport, La on May 16, 1942 to Elmer and Etoile Estes. She passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on July 15, 2021. She was married to the love of her life, Raymond, for 37 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Raymond, son Ricky Lynn Adkison, sister Joyce Hudson and niece Sabrina Stewart.
Gloria is survived by her daughter Theresa and husband Robert Vincent, son Jeff Adkison and wife Tammy, daughter Chrysti and husband Keith Tipton, stepdaughters Pam and husband Robert Cochran and Cathy Ripple, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who all brought so much joy to her life, “sister” Lois and husband Nolen Glaze Sr., along with many other special family members and friends.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Manvel for many years and loved her church family.
Gloria’s last months were spent at Evening Star Personal Care Home in Alvin under the care of Darla, Jessica and other amazing staff members who all loved her dearly.
