Gloria E Lizcano's Obituary
Gloria E. Lizcano was the second of three children born to Juan and Amelia Espinoza in Tonila, Jalisco. She married Jose Candelario Lizcano in Reynosa, Tamps. Mexico and was blessed with seven children. In 1975 she became a widow and was left to raise all her children on her own. Three years after becoming a widow Sis. Gloria migrated to the United States to provide a better life for her and her children. Settling down in Eagle Lake, TX, she lived there for thirteen years and in 1992 relocated to Pasadena, TX where she lived until the Lord called her home.
Sis. Gloria was known as a loving and caring person by everyone who came into contact with her. Regardless of any malice that was done towards her and her family, she was never one to hold a grudge or retaliate. She was known for going above and beyond to be hospitable to anyone who visited her home, making sure that anyone who visited was taken care of and making sure that they were comfortable.
This beautiful trait became even more abundant in her life after giving her heart to the Lord in 1994. She took water baptism in February 12, 1995 and soon after received the Holy Spirit. She loved the Word of God and could always be found reading her Bible and praying for her children and her church family, especially for the Servants of God. Her favorite Bible passage was Psalms 23 and her favorite song was: John saw the Multitude. She loved her church family very much and was loved and adopted as a mother and grandmother by many.
Sis. Gloria is survived by her children; Jose, Guadalupe, Martha, Blanca, Alicia, Magdalena and Maggie, as well as 33 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. We would like to thank the New Testament Church Ministry and church family for their prayers. We would like to give a special thanks to Bro. Elias and Sis. Jane Rangel for their love and support in these trying times.
