Mrs. Gloria Kay Foitik's Obituary
Gloria Kay Foitik, 64, went to be with the Lord on May 7, 2019. She passed peacefully surrounded by friends and family.
She will be deeply missed by her three daughters; Landis Perret, Tressa Rubash, and Lottie Kimmons as well as her mother, Gloria Paris, her sisters; Shirley Bergman, Peggy Cooper and Liza Paris and her brother, Samuel Paris, her four grandchildren, her fur baby Henry and countless others whoms lives she touched.
Kay was born in Hobbs, New Mexico on July 20, 1954 to Gloria and Sam Paris. She was the eldest of four children. She met the love of her life, Leon Foitik, while working at a drive-in theatre. Not long after, they were wed and had three baby girls.
Kay loved quilting. She made gorgeous quilts and had an incredible artistic talent. She had a passion for gardening, and she was so gifted in finding beauty in the simple things in life.
Kay had a huge heart. She devoted herself to loving and caring for her family and friends. She taught so many people the meaning of love and compassion through giving back to others.
Kay made everyone feel welcome and comforted. She was always there for anyone who needed her. Though her passing felt too soon, she is with the Lord nearer to her husband and daddy, right where she wants to be.
