Jerri was not only a Mother to 3 girls. She welcomed her daughters’ girl friends to live in her home when needed. Her only request was that you either went to school or worked. She fed us, clothed us, played cards with us, joked with us, and loved us. One of Geraldine’s favorite holidays was Thanksgiving (besides Christmas). The whole family would come to her house for Thanksgiving, and there were a lot of us. Not only did family come, but all of our friends stopped by as well. Geraldine never minded feeding everyone and anyone that needed a meal.
