George Shry, 93, passed away April 21, 2016 in Austin, TX. He was born on January 10, 1923 in Angleton, TX. George lived around the Houston area since 1955 and worked for WKM. He attended the Catholic Church . His greatest connection to God was through nature and all the bounty that God created through his creation.

George is preceded in death by his 8 siblings, Mary Olsen, Peter Shry, John Shry, Frank Shry, Tony Shray, Albin Shry, Rose Johnson and Thelma Dezo; son, Jack Shry died April 25, 2015.
George's children, Beverly Sleep and spouse Bill, and children, Jennifer Sleep Thomasson and Melissa Sleep Morgan; grandchildren, Taylor and Brecken Morgan. Jack Shry and (first spouse) Cynthia Bristow Shry; children, Jack Shry, John Shry and Jason Shry; Kack Shry and (second spouse) Suzette Gadapee; children George Geoffrey. Patricia and spouse Larry C. Jinks, children, Georgana Jinks and Bryan Jinks.
