George Mathew's Obituary
Remembering George
George Mathew was born on January 1, 1947 in Thalayanadu, Thodupuzha to his lovin arents, the late Mr. NG Mathew and Mrs. Aleyamma Mathew. Growing up, he attende schools nearby while also being very active in various church and charity organizations.
In 1966, he married the love of his life, Mary. They lived near Thodupuzha and had three wonderful children: Benetta, Bincy, and Sonia. Later on, they moved to Nilambur and lived there until they moved to the USA in 2023. He was always very outgoing, hardworking, and had a great sense of humor. He served as the trustee of the St. Thomas Syro-Malabar Catholic Church in Edivanna, Nilambur for several years. He was known as the beloved "Daddy" to people in his parish and in the general area and loved by all.
George touched the lives of many and will be fondly remembered as a very loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be dearly missed.

George is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. NG Mathew and Mrs. Aleyamma Mathew and his sister Sr. Scholastica. He is survived by his beloved wife Mary, his daughters Benetta, Bincy, and Sonia and their spouses Fleming, Chacko, and Jimmy, his seven grandchildren Kevin, Leon, Edwin, Irene, Alan, Dion, and Alisha, his three sisters Sr. Cicily, Sr. Aquila, Sr. Claudia, and his two brothers Mathew and Joy.
