We had the privilege of knowing Uncle through Swapna and Shobha, and from the very beginning, their home embraced us not merely as friends, but as family. Uncle’s warmth was felt in the simplest yet most meaningful ways, through his unforgettable beef curry, his calm and gentle presence, and the quiet care with which he made sure everyone, especially the little children, was fed and happy. And no gathering was complete without him asking Rosa to bring ice cream for the kids, a small gesture that reflected his immense love and thoughtfulness.
Even during his treatments, Uncle carried himself with remarkable strength and grace. He never complained, never burdened others with his pain. Whenever asked how he was doing, he would simply say he was okay. His unwavering faith in God, humility, and steadfast commitment to Christian values were evident in the way he lived and led his family. He was a man of quiet strength, deep compassion, and enduring faith.
We will forever cherish the memories, laughter, and precious moments shared over the years, even through life’s hardest seasons. Uncle touched so many lives with his kindness and love, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him. Rest in peace, Uncle. You will be deeply missed.
-Love, Sanju and Tinju
