Gaspar Gutierrez's Obituary
Gaspar Gutierrez nació un 6 de Enero del 1946 en Coahuila de Zaragoza, sus padres
fueron Donato Gutierrez Garcia y Estafana Gutierrez Torres. Él fue el último hijo de 6
hermanos: Florencio, Maria Eugenia, Esteban, Josefina y Merced. La familia vivió en la
colonia El Cercado, Santiago, Nuevo Leon.
A sus 25 años tuvo la dicha de casarse con Esther Flores Gutierrez. Con mucho amor,
tuvieron su primera hija, Fabiola. En el 1975, la familia se mudó a Houston, Texas,
donde tuvieron tres hijos más: Sarahy, Raul y Fernando. Gaspar siempre fue un
hombre trabajador, que paso muchos años como soldador para proveer una vida mejor
a su esposa e hijos. Con mucho amor y humildad criaron a sus hijos.
Desafortunadamente, su querida esposa, Esther, falleció en mayo del 2003.
En su tiempo libre, Gaspar disfrutaba del beisbol y fue fanático de los Houston Astros.
Él tuvo la dicha de conocer siete nietos: Salma, Arianna, Imari, Nathan, Esteban,
Joaquín y Layla. Uno de sus pasatiempos favoritos fue ver a sus hijos y nietos jugar
beisbol y softball. Le encantaba visitar a todos sus amigos y familiares en México y
estar en su casa en el Cercado. Lamentablemente, él se enfermó de repente y sin
aviso mayor en estos últimos meses. Lucho hasta el fin y le damos gracias a todos los
familiares y amigos que le dieron su amor y apoyo en sus últimos meses. Gaspar
falleció el 22 de agosto del 2022. Con resignación y consuelo, sabemos que está en el
cielo reunido con su amada esposa.
Acompáñenos en su velorio que se llevará a cabo el jueves,1 de septiembre de 5-8pm.
tendremos un servicio de celebración de su vida a las 6:30pm. El entierro será el
viernes, 2 de septiembre a las 10am.
Gaspar Gutierrez was born January 6 th , 1946 in Coahuila de Zaragosa to his parents,
Donato Gutierrez Garcia and Estafana Gutierrez Torres. He was the youngest of six
siblings: Florencio, Maria Eugenia, Esteban, Josefina y Merced. The family lived in El
Cercado, Santiago, Nuevo Leon.
When he was 25 years old, he experienced the joy of marrying Esther Flores Gutierrez.
With lots of love, they had their first child, Fabiola. In 1975, the family moved to
Houston, Texas where they had three more children: Sarahy, Raul and Fernando.
Gaspar was always a hard-working man who spent many years as a welder to provide a
better life for his wife and children. With love and humility, they raised their children.
Unfortunately, his beloved wife, Esther, passed away in May of 2003.
In his free time, Gaspar loved baseball and was a huge Astros fan. He had the joy of
having seven grandchildren: Salma, Arianna, Imari, Nathan, Esteban, Joaquin and
Layla. One of his favorite pastimes was watching his children and grandchildren play
baseball and softball. He loved visiting his family and friends in Mexico and spend time
in his home at El Cercado. Unfortunately, he became suddenly ill in the last few
months. He fought hard to recover and we are thankful to all the friends and family that
sent him love and support in his final months. Gaspar passed on to the afterlife on
August 22, 2022. While we will miss him and wanted to spend more time with him, we
find great comfort in knowing that he is reunited with his beloved wife, Esther.
Join us for our visitation from 5-8pm on Thursday, September 1 st . There will be a
celebration of life service starting at 6:30pm. The burial will be on Friday, September 2 nd
at 10am.
