Dear dad,
I know I was never your real kid but I'm thankful that you treated me as so. You were always there for me. I haven't fully accepted that your gone and I don't think I ever will. Gary was the first person I met when we moved to pearland besides our land lord. He saw that we had gotten our SUV stuck in the mud on the side of our share driveway and helped us try to get it unstuck. Everytime we had left over food or a get together next door we would invite him and he would do the same. I’ll miss Gary forever being my neighbor. Such a kind heart.

The few times I met Mr Gary when I visited, he always made me feel welcomed. He would always strike up a conversation with me to see how I was doing, and to share news about his friends that he loved so much. He made me feel like part of the group. And I will never forget that about him. Rest in peace Sir.

I wanted to surprise Jeremy with a sign that we had seen near San Antonio for his 31st birthday. Him and Gary were roommates at the time and I knew I was going to need help. I asked Gary the morning I was headed to get it if he could help me out and without hesitation he grabbed a sawzall and hopped in the truck. I’ll never forget that day and will always remember what a great friend Gary was and how he was always ready to lend a helping hand. Love you, Gary and sure am going to miss that goofy smile, one of a kind personality, and kind heart ❤️
