Mr. Garner "Dan" Dale Boone's Obituary
Garner Dale (Dan) Boone, age 89, of Friendswood, TX, went to be with the Lord on September 6, 2009. Garner was born in Clinton, AR, on April 17, 1920 to parents Samuel and Bertha Kemp Boone. Garner was a WWII and Korean Veteran, enlisting January 1942 in the Army Air Corps, and rising to the rank of CMSGT. After 22 years of service to his country, he retired from the USAF. The love and passion of his life was his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren to which he was devoted to all. He is preceded in death by his parents, loving wife Annie Lee who passed in 2005 after nearly 60 years of marriage; twin sons, Patrick & Michael; sisters Buel Vunkannon, Bernice Nash, Jeannie Williamson and Lovie Moore. He is survived by daughters, Sandra Boone Murray and husband, Jim of Friendswood, TX and Chelean (Shelley) Boone Manley of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Jennifer Murray Foster and husband, Mark of Friendswood, TX and Jason Manley of Houston, TX; great grandchildren, Wyatt and Maggie Foster; sister-in-law, Lois Kelley Robinson of Houston, TX, along with other nieces, nephews, family members and friends. He will be greatly missed but will live on in the hearts of his family and all whose hearts he has touched. Special thanks go to his dedicated caregivers of CHRISTUS and his special sitters.
