Fred O’Brien was born in Winnsboro, Texas June 17, 1935, he lived a life filled with love, compassion, and unwavering faith. He embarked on a beautiful journey when he moved to Houston, alongside his beloved wife Vicki O’Brien. Together, they built a home that served as the foundation of their love and the center of their family's universe.
In his community, Fred was known for his deep dedication to his church. Serving with unwavering devotion, he touched the lives of countless individuals, providing guidance, comfort, and unwavering support. His kindness and generosity were evident in his actions, as he extended a helping hand to those in need, listened to those in distress, and offered words of encouragement to those seeking solace. Fred's commitment to his church and his unwavering faith have left an indelible mark on the hearts of those he encountered. He was served as a decan at for many years.
In addition to his service to the church and his devotion to his family, Fred O'Brien was known for his unwavering loyalty to his customers at his barbershop in Houston. For decades, he stood behind his barber's chair, scissors in hand, ready to offer not just a haircut, but a listening ear and a warm smile.
