Frank "Pops" F. Viscaino Sr.'s Obituary
Frank Flores “Pops” Viscaino, Sr., 73, lost his battle with brain cancer on September 26, 2020, at home surrounded by his family and friends. He was born June 21, 1947, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the son of Augustine and Leanor (Flores) Viscaino.
Pops and his son started the fabrication department at AMST, where he worked hard for 15 years before he was forced to retire due to his illness. Most people who knew Pops knew he was extremely protective over his tools/machines. He was loved by everyone who worked with him.
There was nothing more important to Pops than family. He had a generous heart when it came to the kids and they loved that he would always offer them candy when they would visit. During his final years, Pops enjoyed getting to spend time with his grandchildren on family trips to Florida, Colorado, and California. He especially loved trying to keep up with his youngest grandson, Jaxon. Every moment spent with Pops will be remembered fondly.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Willie (Lucy) Viscaino. He is survived by his son, Frank (Michele) Viscaino; his sister, Mary (Richard) San Miguel; his brothers, Danny (Connie) Viscaino, Alfredo “Freddy” Viscaino, Luis (Rosemary) Viscaino and Raymond (Dolores) Viscaino; his grandchildren, Damion Viscaino, Aiden Viscaino, Jaxon Viscaino, Crystal Medina, Stephanie Medina, Madilyn Rodriguez and Ryan Rodriguez; his nieces and nephews and many other family and friends that will miss him dearly.
Visitation is from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 1, 2020 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 1, 2020 at South Park Funeral Home, 1310 N. Main St, Pearland, Texas; with a burial will follow.
