Mr. Francisco Garcia JR's Obituary
Francisco Garcia Jr ,75, of Houston, Texas passed away Sunday, November 29, 2015 with his loving family by his side at Houston Hospice. Frank was a loving family man who adored his grandchildren, he loved taking them camping. Frank was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church for over 40 years where he served as an usher for many of those years. He went to the YMCA everyday Monday – Friday to exercise, he also volunteered Monday –Friday at Hiram Clarke Multi-Service Center – Houston where he and his wife enjoyed taking monthly trips with the center.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents; Francisco SR and Procora Garcia, siblings; Emma Espinoza, Eliosa Mendieta and Rolando Garcia. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Alma C. Garcia, children; Vianey Garcia (Paul), Gizelle Garcia and Daniel Garcia ( Renee), grandchildren; Mandi Olivarez, Kimberly Olivarez, Natalie Olivarez, Jacob Garcia and Andrew Garcia, siblings; Eudelia Garcia, Edelia Reyna (David), Elsa Garza, Gilberto Garcia and Robert Garcia (Emma)
The family will receive family and friends Wednesday December 2, 2015 from 10:30 AM until 12:30 PM at SouthPark Funeral Home 1310 North Main St. Pearland, Texas 77581. A funeral service will follow in the chapel of Southpark Funeral Home at 12:30 PM. A reception will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 6502 County Road 48 Manvel, Texas 77578.
The family would like to give a special thank you to La Hacienda Rehabilitation Center and Houston Hospice for all the care they gave to Mr. Garcia.
