Francisca R. Sanchez's Obituary
Francisca Reyes Sanchez passed away peacefully from this world on August 8th, 2021, at the age of 73 in Laredo, Texas.
Francis was born November 27, 1947, in Villagran, Tamaulipas, Mexico, to Juan Pablo Reyes and Maria Marcelina Velazquez
When Francis was 14 her family moved to Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico and Francis immediately began working as a seamstress where she became very skilled at sewing, even making men’s suits and dresses for quinceañeras and brides.
Francis moved to Houston, Texas in 1978 with her husband at the time, Jorge Antonio Sanchez. Francis loved to work in jobs that put her in front of people. She sold Mary Kay, Kitchen Fair, BeautyControl, Pampered Chef, and Avon. And she was always selling food or floral arrangements that she made in her home for extra income.
Francis became a United States citizen in 1995.
Francis loved to entertain and spend time with her friends and family. She was an amazing cook and seamstress and loved to make others around her feel comfortable.
Francis is survived by her daughters, Karla and Lucero, her grandchildren, Vince, Leon, Felix, Otis, Harlow, Bowen, and Kimber, and her siblings, Guadalupe, Manuela, Juan Fidel, Mario, and Jose Leon.
